Tonight I did a little shopping for tomorrow's baby shower, one of my oldest friends is having a baby, a little boy! Oh how I can't wait to meet the little man! I will be spending the next several hours working away in the factory to finish all of the projects I started for tomorrows festivities. Wish me luck!!
I leave you with these adorable baby finds ...

Sewing Class ...
So it is week three of my sewing class and I am beginning to think this wrap skirt will never be wearable! I always seem to have this pre-conceived notion that I can whip these projects out in a snap, however, it never goes as planned! I mean, how hard can a wrap skirt be, right? Well, let me tell you, when you think you are a pattern designer it takes much longer than anticipated! Perhaps I will share some pictures soon ...
In the meantime, here is some pretty sewing inspiration!

Our Valentines Day ...
Well, we switched it up this year. We didn't get dressed up, we didn't make reservations, we didn't plan a thing, and much to my surprise the day worked itself out wonderfully ...
It started with an exchange of handmade card's, while it's not surprising that I would make a him a card, I was quite surprised that he took the time to make me a card! I cooked breakfast (scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and cute little heart shaped pancakes), we did some house cleaning (when you get to know me this will make perfect sense), took a walk through Old Town, some shopping, dinner and a drink ... or two and the day ended with Starbucks and a movie.
I couldn't have asked for a better day! What did you do?
