Today I started to plant my rooftop garden! I live in a 2 story townhouse with a mini backyard that doesn't get a whole lot of sunshine. Last year my garden was so pathetic, I couldn't get anything to grow, until (lightbulb), I put all of my pots on the roof. They get a little sun in the morning and afternoon, it's perfect! I must admit, it's a pain in the behind to climb the ladder each and every time I need to water, but, at the same time it's kind of fun ... plus, I get to say I have a rooftop garden! :)
I'll share photos when everything starts to sprout, but, in the meantime, here is some lovely eye candy for you ...

It is very cool that you have a rooftop garden. What kind of things are you growing?
I've started with tomatoes and strawberries. I hope to plant cilantro, green and red pepper, jalapenos, carrots, and lettuce this weekend. :) It's been kinda busy around here lately ...
